Its true that most of us realize how valuable each day is. For Erin
Crim, a recent trauma has intensified her perspective on the value of
every day. Erin stands before a video camera she has set up in the
kitchen of her home. She smiles and begins speaking about her death.
She wants her 4 year old daughter to remember her and know things that
are valuable in life because she will grow up without her mother.
Three years ago, Erin was busy running down the fast track of the
business world while she was busy juggling a family at home. She had
built a remarkable career in capital investing. But all of a sudden,
cancer struck. All of a sudden her business career and high income
meant nothing to her. Now today, Erin is spending her final days on
earth, cherishing her family. She sees her role this way. She wants to
allow Gods love to flow through her.
What is it that will wake you and I up? Jesus said, "As long as it is
day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming when no
one can work.
Lets seize this day. Dont put off doing today what counts for
eternity, especially if it is a decision to get serious about your walk
with Jesus Christ.
