Have you evered wondered if it is possible to simplify your life and get more out of it? H. Norman Wright says we can in his book You Can Simplify Your Life. He emphasizes that if over-involvement, clutter, and business are the rulers of our lives, then its snuffing out our happiness, our purpose, and our joy.
When we ask Norman the question, How can you stop this self-imposed chaos of over-commitment? he replies, Youve got to really look at what you really want out of life. According to the research, by the age of 35, Norman says a person has roughly 500 days left in life to use like we want to use them. Thats taking the time out for eating, sleeping, and working.
Remember Gods Word says, Conform no longer to the pattern of this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, then you will be able to discern the will of God and to know what is good, acceptable, and perfect.
God will help you. Write on paper today the things you are doing that you dont have to do and focus your time on those things that are important.
