Amy Tracy was in a desperate pursuit for peace, but she never found peace until she stopped running! In describing his conversion to Christ, C.S. Lewis said, God was the hunter and I was the deer. He stalked me, took unerring aim, and fired. Amys story sounds so similar.
She had resisted Gods love.

Since her college days, Amy has been immersed in a gay lifestyle. She became a militant abortion rights activist. She seemed to have her life so together good job, success, money, and power. But in the Fall of 1992, Amy sensed a gnawing ache in her heart. She had resisted Gods love. She realized that her job and her friends would not bring her peace. She discovered that she could not run from Gods love. She stopped running. She surrendered her heart and her soul to the Lord Jesus.
What about you? Are you running from God trying to find peace? In the Bible it says that its in Christ that we find out who we are and what were living for. Let Amys story remind you that theres only one way to find peace: stop running and start receiving Jesus love.
