Do you know the name “Monica Seles”? For two years, she was not able to play competitive tennis because of the man who lunged from the stands and stabbed her in the back. She feared she would never climb out of the dark tunnel of despair from that crisis. But now, she’s back on the tennis court and she has a new perspective on life.

    Monica Seles is delighted to be playing tennis again, but that journey has been far from easy. Her career ground to a halt when that man lunged and stabbed her in the back. She went through a difficult two year period. She wondered,  “Will I play tennis again?” She wondered,  “Will fear control my life?” But now she’s back and she’s happy and she’s focused.

    Hebrews chapter 12 says,  “Keep your eyes on Jesus.” That’s the first step in making a comeback! Think constantly of him, and you will not lose your purpose or your courage. Begin with Jesus. That’s always the way to get up off the mat.
