Some of you were sick because you'd lived a bad life, your bodies feeling the effects of your sin... so miserable you thought you'd be better off dead. Then you called out to GOD in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time. He spoke the word that healed you, that pulled you back from the brink of death. So thank GOD for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.
"Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman [who talked with Jesus at Jacob's well] had said, "He told me everything I ever....."
"And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in..."
"God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus...."
