Spiritual Warfare: 'Surround Yourself with the Word of God'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, February 20, 2025

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
— Deuteronomy 6:6-9 NLT

Today's Prayer

Lord, I praise You for the power of Your written word. We use gates and doors to protect our families, but Your word is far more powerful and protects much better. Let Your words of love and power and protection deliver all my family and me from the evil plans the devil has for us. May Your words fill me with confidence in Your ability to deliver us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
