Spiritual Warfare: 'Satan Traps People Who Follow Human Wisdom'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, March 5, 2025

Do not fool yourselves. If you think you are wise in this world, you should become a fool so that you can become truly wise, because the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. It is written in the Scriptures, "He catches those who are wise in their own clever traps."

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for relying on my own human wisdom so many times in the past. Forgive me for not turning to You and to prayer when a crisis hits me. Help me realize that the wisdom of this world is worthless and foolish to follow when I could have followed Your wisdom instead. Lord, I don’t want to be trapped in my foolishness; I want to fall deeply into the wisdom of Your knowledge and direction for my life. Lead me there. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
