When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me. I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.
— Psalm 142:3-4 NLT

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess to being overwhelmed, discouraged, and depressed. The struggles I face feel like more than I can bear; more than I can overcome. You alone know what I should do; which way I should turn; where I should place my feet so I can safely navigate this difficult situation. You alone know where the enemy traps are located. Please set my feet on solid ground, on safe, firm footing. Go ahead of me, Lord, and I will do my best to follow Your lead. Save me now, because only You can. Thank You for always being here—even when I have ignored Your advice. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
