Spiritual Warfare: 'Darkness: Where Liars Live'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, August 12, 2026

So if we say we have fellowship with God, but we continue living in darkness, we are liars and do not follow the truth. But if we live in the light, as God is in the light, we can share fellowship with each other. Then the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, cleanses us from every sin.

Today's Prayer

Lord, don’t let me be deceived and follow others into a life of darkness and denial of Your Holy Truth. Deliver me from lies and liars. Grant me discernment and understanding so I can live in Your glorious light and follow Your commands. I confess that I need the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse me from my evil thoughts and desires. I depend solely on Your grace and His sacrifice to save me from the evil lifestyles of those in the world all around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
