If we do believe these words accurately describe God, then ...
Why do we hesitate to let Him show us what He has planned for us?
Why do we have such a difficult time accepting what He wants to give us?
Why do we even ask?
Why do we ask for so little and settle for so little?
Why do we restrain our imaginations?
Why do we become so fretful and so anxious when things don’t happen as we think they should or as quickly as we think they should?
Why do we hang on to our problems, why don’t we give Him our broken marriages, troubled children, weary spirits?
Why do we live like everything depends on us ... our goodness ... our talents ... our actions?
Why do we ask with no expectation of action on His part?
Why are we shocked when He gives us more than we ask or imagine?
Why are we reluctant to tell others what He has done?
Why do we not give Him the credit?

Do we believe His word?
Then, let's live like it.
