Opening with Praise in Word and Song:

We join in ToGather worship knowing that we can approach God with confidence, assured that our Father hears us as our hearts seek to honor him.

In Christ and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence (Ephesians 3:12).

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

[For] if God is for us, then we are more than conquerors and no enemy of God can stand against us (8:31).

We know the victory is won for us through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:27).

Let's pray this adaptation of 2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT, together :

Almighty God, we thank you that you have given us everything we need to live a godly life through your divine power. We have received these blessings by coming to know you, the true and living God. You called us to yourself through your marvelous glory and have given us your great and precious promises. These promises enable us to share in your divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires. Thank you, and we praise you, in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

We proclaim our faith in God's glory and our future victory singing "Whom Shall I Fear" with Chris Tomlin:

We continue to proclaim our faith in God's promises by singing "He Leadeth Me" with Candi Pearson-Shelton":

Sharing The Supper:

God is faithful to his promises. He has demonstrated that faithfulness through the ages, and the Scriptures proclaim his faithfulness. As we prepare for the Lord's Supper, we continue our emphasis on God's victory promised to us in the Scriptures. As we journey toward God's glorious future for us, we are not alone. He goes with us every step of the way. We declare this truth as we sing "Another in the Fire" with Hillsong United:

Communion Reflection:

Robert Reagan has spent over three decades sharing the grace of Jesus in Thailand. His Communion reflection focuses on our victory through Christ and God's promise of life through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead:

Focusing on the Scriptures:

Our Verse of the Day and emphasis for ToGather today is Psalm 119:105:

Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light unto my path.

Phil's message is based on this passage and reminds us how blessed we are. In our busy and often challenging world, we have the Holy Spirit's guidance for us in the Scriptures and through his presence in our lives:

Let's obey God's word and see his promises fulfilled in us!
We remind each other to value and obey the Scriptures as we sing "Thy Word" with Amy Grant:

God has given us his great and precious promises. Let's obey his word and see his promises fulfilled in us!

Closing with Praise:

We praise God and remind ourselves of the truth of the gospel in Paul's closing burst of praise from the book of Romans:

Now to [God] who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all [peoples] might come to the obedience that comes from faith — to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen (Romans 16:25-27).

As we close ToGather, let's remind each other that God has "Made a Way" for us through life to bring us to himself with great joy. Let's sing this truth with Travis Greene:

May the grace of God, the love of Jesus, and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit be with us all!
