As response minister, Jim Clark is blessed to have most of the direct contact with our respondents. Although he heads up Herald of Truth's prayer ministry, Jim's primary responsibility is helping people who contact Herald of Truth with special needs. He provides a number of services, including praying with callers, putting them in contact with a Christian counselor, connecting them with a church in their area, and sending them resources applicable to their situation. When he is not ministering to respondents, Jim gathers and creates resources to send future callers. He reads counseling material and interviews Christians who have overcome many of the same problems that plague the people who contact him. Jim has written a number of books and shorter pieces, including The Key to Positive Sexuality, When Life Lets You Down, and his new book Daily Courage. Jim has served as an associate minister for churches in the South, Northeast and Southwest since 1981. He was previously involved in video production in Los Angeles and has an M.Div. from Abilene Christian University. Jim and his wife, Susan, have two children. |
