   Philip Gulley is a Quaker pastor, ministering with the Fairfield Friends Meeting near Indianapolis. A chapter from his first book, Front Porch Tales, was read on the Paul Harvey radio broadcast early in 1997. Gulley lives in Danville, Indiana with his wife Joan and his two preschool sons. In addition to pastoring and writing, Gulley enjoys spending Sunday afternoons in his hometown.  

   Gulley is the author of several books, including Home Town Tales, Front Porch Tales, and For Everything a Season.
