Just a Mist

Life on earth is short -- we are just a mist. But God has made us to live forever based upon how we spend our time here and trust His grace given to us in Jesus.

For my days vanish like smoke. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is nothing before you. Each man's life is but a breath, his days are like a fleeting shadow.

The King will say... "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world." Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

It is so easy to slip in a rut and go on our way as if life had no boundaries. But deep inside, we all know that the most important parts of our lives we cannot control. These remain a mystery with God. So instead of climbing in the same old rut we've run in the last two days, two weeks, two year, two..., let's live with a since of urgency knowing that what we do really matters! After all, a rut's a grave with no ends in it.
