As we approach evangelism on the Web, we need to remember that the Acts 1:8 principle is key. Web evangelism loses it's long term power if we are not practicing it at home. Web missions actually begins in our own city and neighborhoods as we seek to build church web sites that are integrated into our overall evangelism strategy.

But we also need to realize that a church web site will be about as effective in reaching the lost as our church buildings. To do missions, we must enter the world of the cultures we are trying reach with images and connections that help them hear the Gospel in a fresh way that they can understand. This means targeted, strategic web sites aimed at the key components of evangelism, nurture, resources, and fellowship.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
