Spiritual Warfare: 'Hope Breeds Courage and Destroys Fear'

God's Power for Our Battles — Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help. But the wicked will be blinded. They will have no escape. Their only hope is death.

Today's Prayer

Lord, please fill me with hope. Please don’t let my past failures prevent me from hoping for a better future. Remind me that hope causes me to face my problems with greater courage, more confidence, and faith in Your ability to protect and deliver me. Fill me also with faith that can overcome my fears, giving me the feeling of freedom in Christ that causes peace in my heart. You, Lord, are my hope. Help me hope more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
