God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, June 20, 2026
If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have failed again, and I know it breaks Your heart. I confess my weakness of _____ and ask You to cleanse me from every evil desire. Grant me strength and courage to turn away from _____ in the future. I want to be clean again in Your sight, Lord, and to be able to stand again in Your presence. Help me to conform my life to the pattern and example given through Your Son Jesus. In His Name, I pray, Amen.
"How destructive is the hail to the standing crops, beating out the precious grain upon the ground! How grateful ought we to be when the corn is spared..."
"Jesus told [Martha], "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes..."
"This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it — the LORD is his name: Call to me, and I will answer you and tell...."
