That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God].

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for making a way we can be back in relationship with You. Thank You for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross so that could happen. Thank You for offering freedom from the bondage of sin and reconciliation for all who choose to walk the pathway of faith in Jesus as Your Son. Help me on this path, Lord, and help me also to find the freedom I need from the guilt of all my past mistakes so they don’t weigh me down with fear and depression. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
