Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts.

Today's Prayer

Lord, fill my heart and fill my life with the oil of Your Holy Spirit. When I speak to others, Lord, help them to hear Your voice and feel the gentle pull of Your Spirit. Let Your Spirit change how I think and permeate every nook and cranny of my heart and my thoughts and my words. I know I can’t finish this race by my own might or power, Lord, but only by Your Spirit. May Your Spirit lead me in my daily walk and feed me with Your sustaining love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
