Elisha said, "Don’t be afraid. The army that fights for us is larger than the one against us." Then Elisha prayed, "Lord, open my servant’s eyes, and let him see." The Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
— 2 Kings 6:16-17 NCV

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for reminding me that You have a mighty and powerful army in the unseen, surrounding me with Your invincible protection in my hour of need. Help me to sense this and let it comfort me in my hour of trial and suffering. May it spur me on to greater commitment to You and faith in Your ability to do all You have promised—even when the world wants me to believe You are dead and gone and powerless. I trust in You alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
