Spiritual Warfare: 'Sacrificing Children and Polluting the Land'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, August 27, 2026

They worshiped their idols, which led to their downfall. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters. By sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the land with murder.

Today's Prayer

Lord, in ancient Israel they sacrificed their little children to idols, and demons were apparently there in the unseen accepting these blood sacrifices. In olden days they killed the children right AFTER they were born. Today we kill them right BEFORE they are born (abortion). Forgive us, Lord. Forgive our nation and our leaders for authorizing this evil act. Touch our hearts and help us to do all we can to stop this atrocity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
