Spiritual Warfare: 'Obedience Shows Our Love for Jesus'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, September 3, 2026

If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Today's Prayer

Lord, Satan and his demons encourage me to disobey. They want me to think Your laws are silly rules meant to ruin all our fun. Remind me that my obedience to Your commands demonstrates my love for You, Lord, and that the rules are meant to protect me-just like traffic rules that demand I stop at red lights. Deliver me from these deadly deceptions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
