Spiritual Warfare: 'God’s Wisdom Offers Insight and Protection'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, September 27, 2025

Gain wisdom, gain insight; don’t forget or turn from the words I am saying. Don’t abandon [wisdom]; then she will preserve you; love her, and she will protect you. The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdom! And along with all your getting, get insight!

Today's Prayer

Lord, I have tried it on my own, and I know for sure I need Your preservation and Your wise and powerful protection. I often feel as though I’m taking two steps forward and one step back-I remember to consult Your word and Your opinion in prayer and Bible study sometimes; and sometimes I forget, forging forward under my own power. I think I know a human way to fix my problems and circumstances, without asking if You have a better plan. Remind me to pray. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
