Spiritual Warfare: 'Pornography and Faithlessness Alienate God'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, November 12, 2026

You have put pagan symbols on your doorposts and behind your doors. You have left me and climbed into bed with these detestable gods. You have committed yourselves to them. You love to look at their naked bodies.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I knew pornography wasn’t a new problem, but I didn’t realize it was going on back in Isaiah’s time! It has certainly invaded our modern society, too, Lord, and pulled many away from You. Deliver us from this evil. Give us strength and the ability to turn away from this evil. Remind us that we grieve Your Holy Spirit when we participate in porn and stifle His work of transformation in us. When we pursue evil and put out the Spirit's fire in our lives, I know it makes us vulnerable to the influences of evil spirits - which is why Satan uses it. Save us from this and give us resolve to resist! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
