Spiritual Warfare: 'Healing in Response to Repentance, Fasting, and Anointing with Oil'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, November 21, 2025

So they went out and preached that men should repent [that is, think differently, recognize sin, turn away from it, and live changed lives]. And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many who were sick, and healing them.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I repent of the sins of my past. I want to learn to think differently like You want me to. May Your Holy Word change me and help me to recognize the subtle ways sin has invaded my life and led me away from you. Help me to turn from these ways and follow the truth written in Your Word and the commandments recorded there. Help me to follow this example of using oil in faith on those harassed by demons and on the sick, and then watch to see how You work through this act of faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
