Spiritual Warfare: 'Suffering for Christ Is a Privilege'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, December 4, 2026

For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.

Today's Prayer

Lord, in the past I have endured suffering for my commitment to Jesus in shame and embarrassment. Remind me that it’s a privilege to suffer for the sake of Your name. You suffered great agony for me in the past, Lord, so forgive me for avoiding suffering for You today. I know You understand my pain because You have experienced it-and much more. Thank You for Your perfect example of love and sacrifice. Let my current suffering inspire others to stand up for truth, for the Name of Jesus, and for the sake of the kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
