Lord, forgive me for picking fights with my words. Today’s political and religious climate has everyone on the edge of exploding. Help me to be a calming breeze in the midst of this firestorm of ugly words. Let my speech and responses be kind and loving —honoring truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
