What Jesus Did! 'Authority to Reveal the Father' — Luke 10:22

Thursday, July 6, 2023

[Jesus continued,] "My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

Key Thought

Jesus reveals the Father. Do you want to know the Father? You need to look to Jesus! Jesus is the Father's ultimate expression in human form. He is the Father's Word of life [1] - the Father's message spoken through the life of Jesus. Jesus has authority over everything. He knows and reveals the Father. So, if you really want to know the Father, get to know Jesus!

Today's Prayer

Father, thank you for revealing yourself in Jesus, your Son and my Savior. In his name, I praise and thank you for this gift. Amen.
