    Brooks McGuire’s future looked very bleak until a godly woman of service and prayer arrived on the scene. This all took place one evening 12 years ago. Marilyn Palace was driving on the freeway and she came upon a terrible wreck. Brooks was lying on the pavement. He was bleeding severely from legs that had nearly been severed from his body.

Today, you may be facing the biggest obstacles you’ve ever handled.

    Marilyn stopped and help him. She helped get the bleeding stopped and took him to the emergency room of a hospital. After 12 hours of surgery, the doctors were able to save his legs.

    Brooks looks back on that time now and says: “We humans put God in a box, but my experience blew out every boundary of what God could do or was willing to do.”

    Today, you may be facing the biggest obstacles you’ve ever handled. You think, “I can’t do it.” Maybe you’re sick. Maybe your marriage is in trouble. Maybe there is a child in rebellion. Maybe you feel absolutely powerless. This is the time to remember the words of Exodus 15:11:

Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you? Majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders!

When God works in our lives, let's give him the credit and the glory!
