Dear Family,
The Lord is gracious above and beyond our wildest dreams. Your prayers and concern for us since you heard we had been arrested in Vientiane have been answered according to His will. All five of us were released this afternoon about 5:30 pm. The U.S. Embassy was wonderful in their efforts to secure our release. Please don't forget 34 Laotian Christians that are still jailed in two locations with no access to their families or other needs. They could be jailed for two months waiting for the investigation to be completed. We meet with the U.S. Embassy in the morning as we have 7 days to leave the country as undesireable aliens, but Partners in Progress can continue the Laotian health project. We have more questions than answers right now.

For your fantastic efforts to sort out our situation, alert the brotherhood, notify the authorities, and most of all to beseech the One who rules in the affairs of men, the five of us are deeply grateful. The stories of great courage by your Laotian & Thai brethren will thrill your hearts when we have time to share them. To Him who sets up and removes authoritites be all the praise and glory!
