Do you remember the name Donna Rice? A little over ten years ago, she was photographed sitting on the lap of presidential candidate Gary Hart aboard a yacht named Monkey Business. Her life was destroyed. Reporters hounded her every move, staking out her home looking for more stories. The scandal was horrible.

She began to emerge from this black hole of despair when she returned to her childhood faith.

    Now not long after the scandal, Donna plunged into a deep depression. She began to emerge from this black hole of despair when she returned to her childhood faith. She rededicated her life to God’s will in Jesus Christ.

    Since then, God has done some wonderful things in her life. He has led her to our nation’s capital, working against child pornography. She found herself standing before politicians urging them to pass legislation to clean up the child pornography horror in our country and ban child pornography from our country.

    It is encouraging to me to see to see how gracious God is in restoring fallen souls like Donna Rice, and like you and me. Jesus did the same thing with the apostle Peter and he is doing it today. Commit yourself to follow him today. He is not through using your life no matter how many mistakes you've made.
