I think I know what one teenager meant when he said, “I’ve learned that it’s easier to stay out of trouble than to get out of trouble.” It’s tough to get out of trouble. And you never know what it’s going to require.

    Being in trouble just seems to lead to more trouble. Especially when we are trying to get out into lying. That leads to more lies to keep from getting caught, until finally we can’t remember what the truth was in the first place and the whole mess comes down!

    The apostle Paul reminds us that there is no temptation we can have that we can’t escape. God is faithful! Not only will he not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, he will also give us a way out. Thank God!

    God promised to help us stay out of trouble. Accept his help.
