Looking through the magazines and catalogs that come in the mail, Im always amazed by the efforts to reassure the customer that merchandise is the real stuff. Even when telling us that something isnt real, advertisers use words that sound good, like leather-like vinyl, in an effort to make the fake stuff sound better.
I guess this says something about the desire we all have to have something of value something that wont wear out, something that chip or tarnish or break. Thats not just a consumer preference, its a real soul need. We need something and somebody who has ultimate value. A real faith. A real savior.
Like Jesus!
