There are still people keeping their marriage vows. Two of those people
are Krickitt and Kim Carpenter. Let me explain.
Whenever Krickitt Carpenter views the wedding videotape which culminates
with a beautiful bride and handsome groom sharing their vows, she feels
very uncomfortable. She cannot remember what that bride was thinking.
She knows it was her, but she cant remember the details. You see,
shortly after her wedding to Kim, Krickitt suffered a skull fracture in
a car accident. When she emerged from this month long coma, she no
longer knew Kim. She could not remember meeting him, dating him, or
marrying him.
The beautiful story is that Kim stayed beside her as she struggled to
heal. He kept on courting her. He kept on loving her. He says that
his faith in God was the reason he had the strength to do that. I made
a vow to God. I really meant that commitment. And that is what I want
people to feel.
