Sometimes I’m not too good at listening, and I don’t think I’m alone! Many of us listen up until the point where we disagree with the person, then our minds just kind of jump the track and take off in another direction. We don’t listen completely.

    In the Bible, God told Israel “I will raise up a prophet who will be a lot like Moses, and you must listen to everything he tells you.” (Acts 3:22) Did you hear that? You’ve just got to listen! And then he finishes, “Anyone who does not listen will be cut off form among his people.” Well, that’ll get your attention!

    And if we don’t listen and act on what we receive from the Lord, the power of his message won’t carry through to the generations ahead; it won’t carry through to your children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Listen to his Word.
