Renew My Passion |
Passion is so easily lost, while mediocrity is so easily found. We
often forget that we are in a spiritual war and lose our edge, our zeal, our
passion for living dynamic, positive, godly lives.
For me to be all that God
wants me to be today, I must be energized with a holy passion to do his work no
matter the circumstances. These scriptures help us focus more closely on God's
power to restore, renew, and revive us to do his will. |
| Let me hear joy and gladness... Create in
me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me
the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.

We must pay more careful attention,
therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. ... How shall
we escape if we ignore such a great salvation!
