Holy and righteous God, I come before you not only as a sinner, but also as a seeker longing to live for you.
Please accept my confession of sin as I turn my heart back to you today and pledge to live for you in all I do and say.

GRACE
Accept My Repentance
We find it so hard to admit that we are wrong. Yet coming into the presence of a pure and holy God reminds us how we do not stack up.
But being aware of our shortcomings, and even being sorry for our failures, is not God's goal in our life. He wants us to return from sorrow at sin to joy in obedience. Repentance is not being sorrow, but being committed to turn our hearts and lives and actions to him.
For this is what the high and lofty One says-- he who lives forever, whose name is holy.
"I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of contrite."
(Isaiah 57:15)
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, you Father will not forgive you.
(Matthew 6:14-15)
Have mercy on me, O God,
According to your great compassion blot out all my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
(Psalm 51:1-2)
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
(Psalm 103:11-12)
