I want to share an important Biblical principle that should characterize you if you are a Christian husband, and it’s that of a provider.

          It’s taken for granted that a husband is to financially and physically sustain the family. In Genesis 3, after the fall, God said man would struggle to extract a living from the ground.

          However, the scriptures do not designate that husband as just the provider of financial income. There are greater things than money and physical needs that a man should provide for his family. God has given the father the responsibility of providing spiritual, intellectual and emotional leadership—the real, the essential needs.

          The leadership role is not always a coveted role. A lot of husbands show love with things; a Christian husband gives the most precious thing: himself.

          So let’s make life work a little better for you today. Provide the real, the essential needs for your family.
