As a Christian, my first priority should be the maintaining of a rich, vital relationship with God. Because that’s where we find the real person, the real values, the true virtues of life. Without these essentials, there’s nothing much real to share with others, no valid base for life.

    Spiritual life just can’t survive without food. And to grow we have to include the essentials that nourish our souls! We need a philosophy that works every day of our lives, whether we’re up, down or sideways, and the Bible does just that. It’s more essential than food for your body. Job said, “I have treasured in my bosom the words of his mouth.”

    So let’s make the rest of the day a little better by keeping the main thing the main thing.
