Do you know what a laser light is? It’s that spotlight at Disneyworld that can write on the side of a building a half-mile away. And the reason it’s so powerful is because every particle of light is focused. Some lasers are so strong, they can cut through sheets of steel.

    Now when people get focused, we develop a similar power. It’s amazing! It’s amazing what we can do when we are “single-minded”, as the Bible says. When you have a mission—a mission like the twelve-year-old Jesus who said he had to be about his Father’s business—you’re like a laser beam: focused and empowered by the Spirit of the Lord. But until you have that mission in life, your light will be diffused. Going in all different directions.

    So, make the rest of the day work a little better for you. Seek your mission, look for it, pray for it, and let your light shine!
